The last day of vacation...sort of a bittersweet day, isn't it?...sad to see the end of vacation time but glad to get back home to all your familiar and comfy surroundings.
I finally decided to bring my sewing machine and some charm packs and spent a few hours putting together some pinwheel blocks.
The fabric is "Canning Day" "Sweet Remembrance" from Connecting Threads paired with a pale yellow cotton solid.
It was Biker Week here at Myrtle Beach so there was plenty of Harleys and interesting looking folks!
I can't imagine this could be comfortable!
We tried to fit in and rode our human-powered bikes all over town!
that's my hubby on the right
All in all, I'm definitely refreshed and ready to get home and get back into a sewing groove!!!

the end of a vacation is always a bit sad. i always wish we could all bring our vacation attitudes home with us! relaxing is a good thing!
Oh, but home is sweeter when you return. I really like your artsie photo shots, in the bike mirror, and those pretty tan-lined feet in the water.
Sewing is work and relaxing, huh? i usually choose to drag my machine along, too, lol
:-}pokey
I love the picture of the sewing machine, coffee pot and beautiful fabrics so neatly pressed. I have never been to Myrtle Beach. It looks neat! Glad you had a nice time! :)
Loved the last shot Jenn. It looks so relaxing and I could sure use some of that right now.
