Back in the (re-adjusted) saddle

It's a lovely, rainy day here today (my garden is loving this!) - the PERFECT day for catching up on sewing.  I have a lot to do in addition to making a custom quilt that needs to be completed by Christmas (oy vey!)  I've been absent from posting for a while now and have lots to talk about, but just can't justify the time to do it right now.  I do want to send a big thank you hug to the handful of blogging friends that took time to email me and say they missed me!  How genuine!  I am truly touched and thankful for dear blogging friends who care!  I have been debating whether to continue blogging or not, simply because I feel I've been doing it for the wrong reasons.  I've said to myself that I was done, but I really don't think I am.  I do think I need to re-evaluate my motives and stop worrying about 'popularity' or anything along that line....I decided I would make my posting more like writing letters to friends and family...not like competition with the other crafty ladies in the blog world.

There.  I said it.

So, that being said, I'll leave you with a picture because we all love pictures.

Awww...adorable photo! I am so happy to read all about you, my friend! :o) That said, sometimes we just need to sit back and take a big bloggy break. I completely understand. I've been there. I've reassessed. I'm happier now, cause I'm blogging for me and the creative therapy it releases. I can't wait to hear all about your new projects! Welcome back and Happy Thursday! :o)

PS...LittleGirl still absolutely loves her Peace bag. She carries it almost every day. All the girls in school want one! Ha! She loves her 'Jenn Original'. Thanks so much! (((HUGS)))

I'm so glad to see you're back Jenn. I've been thinking of you.

Your blog needs to be about you. Post away.Frequently.Infrequenty. About your craft. About whatever you like.

I like hearing what you have to say .

Hey you are one of my FaVeS, and I hope you know it. Who cares about popularity? I love getting to meet likeminded crafty people, and that they (you) love Jesus, and have a great sense of humor, too is frosting on the cake.!
