Sew-and-Tell Friday

I was fully prepared to shut down my dress-making factory for the year because I was done at the craft shows for the season and therefore wouldn't have a place to sell my little dresses - not to mention that our temperatures here have been in the mid-90s every day -  when I realized that most of my online customers are from up north and are just now getting into summery weather!  In addition to this, custom orders for those summery little pinafore sets started rolling in....DUH!!!  Time to re-stock the Etsy shop!

So, I re-opened the dress factory and churned out these babies this week.

Lila Tueller's "Eden" line of fabrics makes the cutest little outfits - I've got a few orders with this line.

I never would have thought to put these two fabrics together - cherries and zebra print -  but don't they look adorable?  I wish I was better at fabric combinations, but, alas, my children are grown and I'm a little rusty on baby fashion nowadays.

Heather Bailey's "Pop Garden" line is also proving a popular combination for baby clothes.

And how about a set of ruffle bum bloomers to wear with a onesie or little t-shirt?

CUTE!

The fabrics in my previous post will probably be used in these pinafores, too, and who knows, I might be on another Etsy shopping spree before too long picking up more fabrics for these adorable little outfits because they are so fun to make it's addictive!!

Next Friday marks my 1 year Blogiversary and I'll be having a GIVEAWAY, so be sure to check back!

OMG I love it I love it I love it! I have a pattern for a similar top/dress where the straps cross over in the back, and I think it looks soo cool! My mom would have a fit at the cherry one! She loves Cherries (She has a tattoo of a couple cherries on her hip that she's had since before she was my age :P) and black and red are her favorite colors (specifically together) she would just melt. SO cute! I personally like the bottom flowery ones and the big print in them the most!

I just love those little sets..That style has always been a particular favorite of mine.

Alas I was blessed with 3 boys so I never got to use any..but maybe one day in the far (very far please!)future there might be a Granddaughter I can make them for.
