Sunday Afternoons...

After a nice Sunday lunch with my hubby and oldest daughter, we enjoyed a piece of this freshly baked, still warm, german chocolate cake and a tall glass of cold milk.

Definitely a scary-looking cake, but, hey, scary is good, right!
And this cake was GOOD!!!!
Now, I'm off to indulge in some wonderful sewing!

Ahhhh....I love Sunday afternoons!

Enjoy yours,

Hi Jenn,
I just made a german chocolate cake this week too. I used a boxed german chocolate mix, but made the frosting. oh my gosh...coconut and pecans...nothing better. Yours looks yummy. I made it for my boss' birthday, so he took the rest home to his family. No left-overs for me.
Have a great Sunday,
~Karen~

I agree - Sundays are the best! I love the colours in your patchwork blocks. I think I need to make myself a red and aqua quilt - they are so pretty together
