After a nice Sunday lunch with my hubby and oldest daughter, we enjoyed a piece of this freshly baked, still warm, german chocolate cake and a tall glass of cold milk.
Definitely a scary-looking cake, but, hey, scary is good, right!
And this cake was GOOD!!!!
Now, I'm off to indulge in some wonderful sewing!
Ahhhh....I love Sunday afternoons!
Enjoy yours,

That cake looks awesomely yummy!!! The block for jane's swap are equally yummy! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Jenn,
I just made a german chocolate cake this week too. I used a boxed german chocolate mix, but made the frosting. oh my gosh...coconut and pecans...nothing better. Yours looks yummy. I made it for my boss' birthday, so he took the rest home to his family. No left-overs for me.
Have a great Sunday,
~Karen~
love the red and aqua color combo! thanks for stopping by my blog... i will be asking you for advice when i take the plunge into free motion!
Yummy cake!! I want some right this very minute. And I love your gorgeous fabrics! I want those right now too. hehe x
I agree - Sundays are the best! I love the colours in your patchwork blocks. I think I need to make myself a red and aqua quilt - they are so pretty together
Yum, I love German Chocolate. Your red and aqua fabrics are delicious too :-)
Jenn, I know this is an older post, but what did you make w/these quilt squares? I love the colors, and like the eiffel tower fabric I see in there! Do you have the final product? Thanks. xxoo
