"12 more hours until Survivor!!!"

You'd think he was a fan....

He also reminded me to remember to wear my Survivor shirt today....something silly I do ~ wearing it on Thursdays.

Anyways, I am looking forward to vegging in front of the boob toob tonight and quilting. I don't watch too much TV but I do enjoy a few favorite shows.


Last night I got hooked on my scrappy nine-patch quilt along and just couldn't stop until I had the top done. I haven't decided if I'm going to add the extra border like amanda jean did on her first one, but I am enjoying the scrappy prettiness of it as it is right now. I think I'm going to try and machine quilt this one. It would be the largest I've tried yet and I need the practice.

I really should have been working on this.

It is a special order quillow for a customer in England ~ but of course, who would think to make something this original just to have in their quilt shop...definitely not something I would think of!

Something special is going on at yankee quilter. I know the word is spreading about Terry's husbands accident and I've been motivated to participate. The theme is "scrappy love" so pull out your scraps and put together a 9½" block and send it along with $1 to her. This is truly a great way to show love and support to someone in need.
